Mrs. J - Loggerheads, Market Drayton, Shropshire - January 2012
Do not give this company any work. All of their claims are false. They tell lies left right and centre. I ordered a solar pv system in September which went wrong from the start. Sub contractors fitted cheaper panels and a smaller inverter than the quote. They provided an MCS Certificate but it did not tally with what had been ordered, and I could not establish what they had actually installed on the roof. Numerous phone calls have proved fruitless. Following the Review announcement, I did send off an application for FIT in November, but have not yet had approval. My neighbours had found the same cheaper panels when they checked their roof. They never suspected, registered for FIT, and now cannot get Greenman to reply.Their are several sub contractors, that I have found, connected to these installations ordered from this company. I think maybe Greenman are just passing on the orders, then getting customers to make out their payments to Greenman Energy Solutions Ltd. Who knows whether they are paying the sub installers.
Since early October, Trading Standards have received all my documentation as it has gone on, but have not as far as I know done anything about it.

Mr. Austin Anderson - December 2011
An absolute nightmare for my family and I. I orderederd a Solar PV system in September and have had countless cancelled installations, let downs and fob offs. The company is owned by Sean Paul Suffield and if you check on Companies House he has been involved with 4 dissolved businesses in the Manchester area since 2006. I paid a £3,000 deposit in September and 21/2 months later, despite many promises, can't get it back. They copied 2 other people in on an email that I received and we've been communicating since and they've had the same problems. All 3 of us were told that our deposits were insured by the REAL Assurance scheme and they weren't. Greenman Energy Ltd claim to be accreditied by NIC EIC and they're not. As they've not supplied and fitted the system, we can't take part in the Feed In Tariff scheme so I'm now left with £3,000 missing and a £12,000 loan to pay back as well as £3,750 in interest to pay back. DO NOT GIVE THIS OUTFIT YOUR MONEY.
