Being the recipient of a new UPVC frame manufactured by Conservatory Outlet Ltd, I was not ‘happy’ to find the dummy sash windows allowing draughts to enter and artificial heat to escape. When I wrote to the installer (Greenway, the ambassadors of the Conservatory Outlet brand) about this problem, the response I received was:- “This is within manufacturing standards” Why should people have to put up with this standard of product, when Conservatory Outlet / Greenway advertise:- “You can be assured of energy efficiency and when sat inside the confines of the structure you will not fail to notice the comforting atmosphere it provides. The UPVC frames will help keep cold air out …….”
