Front door:....warped, had engineer visit twice, company who makes doors, made a visit and 3 years down the line door eventually replaced. New door isn't the easiest to open and close, because of insulation running down door makes rubber noise so guess will wear in time. Rubber strip annoying really. Feels like air coming through lock area. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

Conservatory, bifold doors, patio doors, a front door and 4 windows over the last 5 years later, we are waiting for them to come and sort out a few problems. Their customer service is atrocious. We've had a problem with the seal on the bifold doors for over a year. And I do appreciate theres been a pandemic. Also means theres a gap in the door, which we've had to put up with over last winter. Rather a cold draft coming through. They tell us the seal is on order, only to be told its the wrong seal. Also the beading on the front door is hanging off. Not good I feel, for a £5,000 door. We phone them regularly, and they have wonderful excuses or they will get back to us. They don't. It's such a shame that their customer service lets them down , because the quality and look of the products are good. They seem to talk a good talk, but then theres no follow up when theres a problem. A real let down. We are pensioners, and feel maybe thats a disadvantage. If we were younger, we wouldn't be taken advantage of. I do not know how to upload a proof of purchase. Thats a very clever way of getting out of showing my review. I hope someone takes note of my dissatisfaction with your company.

TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE I had a conservatory fitted by this company which initially was fine. After a couple of years two out of the three roof panels failed resulting in dampness and dirt between the double layers causing staining to the panels that could not be cleaned. Trying contact the company to report a fault is a nightmare, they do not call you back even though there is a 10 year warranty. Eventually after countless calls and some months later the two roof panels were replaced but these panels are a different colour to the third panel. They are now refusing to replace the third panel so the roof is now two-tone and looks awful. Any respectful company who prides themselves for their customer service would have resolved this issue and replaced the odd panel. I I I RECOMMEND YOU DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

We committed to an order and paid a deposit over £700 after a 6 hour sales pitch, they say it will only take an hour, it doesn't! Brighter Homes compared their products to Everest stating they are as good and we wont find cheaper, we completely fell for it, they pin you down and start with a unrealistic figure and knock it all the way down with a 1 time deal. Within our 7 days cooling off period we managed to be proactive and had Everest come round to quote for comparison since brighter homes compare themselves to them and Everest offer a lifetime warranty because they are the best, and guess what over 35% cheaper! We cancelled with brighter homes and have gone with Everest, its now over 3 weeks later, still no sign of our deposit being refunded, we were promised it would be done straight away, then promised a payment had been made again, but no sign yet, and no response to emails...nothing. Do not trust these guys, shop around go local or go big player!

Brighter Homes installed a tip-and-tilt kitchen window for me with which I was very pleased. I therefore felt confident to order a bay window and 2 bedroom windows. i was not shown any samples and assumed the new windows would be of similar appearance and standard to the first. i was shocked at the cheap appearance and quality of the windows that were installed. If I had been shown such a sample I would not have ordered it. The advertising promises beautiful quality windows. These are not. Also I had a flying mullion as part of my bedroom window without being told. It was not demonstated to me and the workmen did not open it for me. In effect, when I exerted pressure to open the window, the bar in the middle gave way. As I opened these from a position 10 inches below the window - my bed is alongside the window so I was kneeling on my bed - I nearly fell out. Child locks were to have been fitted, workmen turned up on 2 occasions to fit them but found that the supplied locks could not be fitted. Since then, silence. I find this a strange way to treat a previously satisfied customer. These serious matters are not yet resolved. Do not trust this company.

They totally lived up to the reputation of window salesmen. They lied repeatedly and overcharged us horrendously. This was even confirmed by their own fitter. They've ignored numerous attempts we've made to contact them about this. They did this knowing we had a new baby and money was tight. No shame
