Had mine done 2 years ago, they move in the frame. They vibrate and howl terribly in the wind. Sent numerous emails and rang up to be told someone would come back out. They never did. Now I'm looking for another company to fix there problems. Gutted. It would appear in the meantime they have now closed down. Doesn't shock me! Terrible installation service!
As soon as they have your money , their customer service is non-existent. We had our windows fitted in February 2021. It took us many times of asking and 6 weeks to receive the keys to lock the windows.
The fitting was average , but the touching up job on all the outer frames was messy.
I requested some touch up markers in the corresponding grey colour - 4 months of continuous asking - ( 6 emails and 5 phone calls ) - and they have been completely ignorant. Similarly and much more importantly , one of my door units is full of swarf from where the spacer bar is cut to separate the glass panes ; I have asked them multiple times since February to replace the unit. When you call you get through to Charlotte who says she will organize the replacement for you - 5 times of asking and 5 months later - no response whatsoever.
The owner is more concerned with telling you how he fraternizes with the cast of Brookside / Hollyoaks or whoever....he is just a mouth who just wants your money and is not interested in customer service.
DO NOT GO ANYWHERE NEAR THIS COMPANY.
p.s. to the company itself - I hope you read this - I will be refunded what you owe me - that is certain.
Rang me for delivery and fitting date of the 4/5 /6th Nov, 4th was the delivery of the glass, they came on the 2nd with no notice of delivery for that date. Now they're not fitting them now until the 11th and 12th. Avoid these like the plague. Unreliable.
Doors turned up not to size ordered but with extra plastic to make them fit.
Job was completed on Saturday with rubble to be removed on Monday
Monday came and went with no sign of removal
Phoned windowworld in the morning of Tuesday,they told us they would get back to us this didn’t happen so I called again in the afternoon no response
Wednesday I went to the office to find out what was happening
Rubbish was finally cleared Thursday
All in all the work was carried out to a reasonable standard but I would avoid this company, as soon as they have u you our money they are not interested in customer service
There are a lot of companies out there offering great customer services these are not one of them

Wiondow World.... I live in Southport, Merseyside and i agree with Miss Griff that Window World are to be avoided at all costs. My windows were not fixed correctly and the locks were a shambles as they didnt even lock properly after two weeks. The windows were just fixed with foam and itr was very poor. The front bedroom window nearly fell out and i had to ring the owners of the Window World to come and sort it out. All in all i had a very bad experiance with this company and i should of gone with my gut feelings and used one of the local companys based in Southport.
These people should be avoided! They advertise a fixed price in there ad and boast YALE locks in the brochure. What you actually get is cheap and nasty locks, if you want glass in the windows the price then goes up, same if you want the windows to open. as for the fitting, haha they cant even put the glass in without breaking it, and still over a week later no glass!! lock in door loose, trims hanging off, window not sealed, outside brickwork left exposed, not to mention the mess left in my garden. The whole job is a mess I've even had to contact trading standards and citizens advice to get the job finished. Wouldn't trust them to fit a window in my shed!! I am still waiting for them to finish the job which was started in July after making several arrangements to fix the mess they made of the job they fail to turn up with not even so much as a phone call!! Complete waste of space. AVOID THEM IF YOU KNOW WHAT'S GOOD FOR YOU!

Window world was recommended to me by a colleague and I must say I couldn’t fault any aspect of the job, from ordering to the finished product. They even went out of their way to enable me to run two central heating pipes under the door plinth at no extra charge. I will be recommending them to friends in the future. Thanks again.
I've had all my windows plus French doors done by chris and james 1st class job I would highly recommend them they cleaned up after themselves as well
Just had windows fitted by Chris and James were delighted with the two of them , windows looking great! They cleaned up and were tidy and efficient!!! Going to ask for them again to fit the rest !!!

Last year windoworld replaced our front door. We were so delighted we decided to go ahead and replace our windows.
They look amazing. Fit and look perfect.
Fitters were two lovely lads and nothing was a problem.
From quote to install everything was so good on time, they did everything they said they wood.

Great service from Chris & james who fitted our windows over 2 days, turned up on time, really professional told me at each stage what they had to next and also re sealed my patio door which was not being changed, plus the house was spotless when they left!! Would definitely recommend them to friends & family. Told the old windows would be picked up in a couple of days so as long as that happens excellent service
